Travis Kelce admits he ‘kept on moving’ when he saw a little boy fall from stands at NFL game: ‘I felt bad’

It’s the thought that counts.

Travis Kelce admitted he didn’t stop to help a little boy who fell from the stands at his Kansas City Chiefs game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and “felt bad” about it.

“I actually saw this and I just kept on moving,” the tight end admitted on his “New Heights” podcast Wednesday. “I felt bad after.”

However, Kelce said he knew the kid would be taken care of because he noticed his teammate Tershawn “Turk” Wharton had caught him.

“I’m like over to the left … I was like, ‘Oh s—t. You got him, Turk? Hell yeah, Turk’s got him!’” he recalled.

Kelce’s brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, called Wharton’s save the “play of the game.”

The child — who was wearing a Nick Bolton jersey — fell over the railing at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC, while asking for autographs as the Chiefs entered their locker room.

Travis, 35, joked that the fan should sue the Panthers for having a stadium without better safety measurements.

“I don’t know who the brainiac was that cut the railing there,” the Super Bowl champ said, as he watched the video of the incident. “What the f—k is the gap for?

“He should f—ing go to school with a neck brace on and sue the Panthers. Get rich quick, kid.”

Wharton, 26, spoke about his quick-thinking to save the fan during ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.

“I would say it was a natural reaction. Usually when I leave a game, [I] try to throw my gloves in the crowd, and I think I heard my name a little bit, and when I heard my name, I seen him coming down,” he recalled.

“It was two security guards right there, I don’t think they realized what I was doing because they were looking at us but I just had to kinda like push him into the stands a little bit to make sure he didn’t hit too hard.”

Wharton originally signed with the Chiefs in 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri S&T.

He has won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs and Travis.

They are hoping to clinch the title again for the third year in a row.
