Last season, in a dramatic ending, Josh Allen and the Bills once again lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs. However, the quarterback continues to dream of one day reaching the Super Bowl. Still, the team now faces a major challenge in assembling their roster for the upcoming season.

During this offseason, the Bills’ general manager initially raised concerns among fans by being very transparent about the team’s tight salary cap situation.

“We’re very tight, knowing that we have to set aside money for draft picks,” Beane said.

Currently, the Bills have $2,276,742 in available cap space after accounting for their top 51 salaries and the money needed to sign rookies, according to Over The Cap (OTC). These figures place Buffalo 30th among NFL teams in terms of cap space.

This will undoubtedly have consequences for the Bills, who will need to free up more money if they want to sign additional free agents. With the NFL’s salary cap set at $279.2 million for 2025, the Bills will need to make smart financial decisions to remain competitive and continue fighting for a chance to reach the Super Bowl.
