Jonnu Smith, Dolphins Tight End Player, Criticizes Bills Fans and Everything About Buffalo: ‘Worst Place You Can Be’

Jonnu Smith must have been feeling a little saucy when he trashed the city of Buffalo.

The Dolphins tight end, who previously played for the Titans, Patriots and Falcons, took shots at the cold weather and famed delicacy in the home city of the AFC East rival Bills.

“It’s got to be the worst place you can be in the world,” Smith said during an appearance on “The Dive Bar Podcast.”

But what about those delicious wings, made famous at hot spots like Anchor Bar and Bar-Bill Tavern?

“The buffalo wings ain’t even good,” Smith said unprompted. “They ain’t even good. I’m throwing all types of shots at Buffalo.”

He was released again by the Falcons after last season.

It’s safe to say that he never considered the Bills as a landing spot before latching on with the Dolphins.

Not that the Bills offense with productive tight ends Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid was looking for his help, anyway.

“That’s why their fans be hating so much – because they want to be down here [in Miami],” Smith said. “You ever went to Buffalo? Oh my gosh, man. Listen, Buffalo is, I don’t how them dudes do it. I don’t know how they did it. I don’t know how they did it. Going from anywhere in the country and then going into Buffalo.”

The Bills have owned the Dolphins of late, winning 10 of the last 11 meetings, including one at home in the wild-card round of the 2022 playoffs and one in Miami in Week 18 of last season with the AFC East title up for grabs.

That latest result sent the Dolphins to Kansas City for the playoffs, and they lost to the Chiefs in the third-coldest game in NFL history (-4 degrees at kickoff).
