Bachelor star Lauren Burnham has penned a heartfelt message about her newborn twins, revealing that her daughter is still in the hospital.

Despite Lauren’s announcement earlier this week about the birth of her twins, only one of them has been able to join the family at home.

Sharing a series of adorable pictures with her twins and husband Arie Luyendyk Jr. at the hospital, the 29-year-old took to Instagram to express her feelings: “Wishing a happy first week of life to my sweet babies. Excited for double the diapers, double the feedings, and double the snuggles. Can’t wait to have you both home.”

While the occasion is joyous, Lauren’s daughter remains in the hospital, prompting Arie to share his admiration for his wife: “I’ve never been prouder of my wife than in this moment. She is the strongest woman I know, and I feel lucky to be on this incredible journey with her. We are proud parents of a healthy boy and girl!”

In her Instagram stories, Lauren posted a video of the babies, saying, “2/3 of my heart are here right now. Today is bittersweet…we get to leave the hospital. But little sis has to stay behind for now. I’ve never felt heartbreak like this. Please pray for our little girl.”

Accompanying the message were two photos of Lauren in the hospital bed right after giving birth, smiling alongside the twins. Additionally, she shared a beautiful picture of the sleeping babies wrapped in blankets – one in white and the other in pink, captioning the post with the babies’ birth date, 06.11.21, and tagging their Instagram account.

Arie, the proud father of three, later updated followers, stating, “The babies are here! Momma and babies are doing great, and everything went smoothly. Spending time cherishing these moments. Thank you all for the support.”
