Giant Tunnels Dug by Prehistoric Humans to Trap Woolly Mammoths 15,000 Years Ago Discovered in Mexico

Antropólogos mexicanos afirman haber descubierto dos fosas excavadas por humanos hace 15,000 años para atrapar mamuts.

Investigadores del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia de México informaron el miércoles que las fosas se encontraron durante excavaciones en terrenos que se planeaban utilizar como vertedero.

Las fosas, llenas de restos óseos de al menos 14 mamuts, se encontraron en el vecindario de Tultepec, justo al norte de la Ciudad de México. Al parecer, algunos de los animales fueron despiezados.
